I don’t know how they figure what counts in the inflation stats...you’re right - property taxes, utilities, food, auto/homeowner/dental/medical insurance, prescriptions, home warranties, repairs/maintenance of home, maintenance and repairs of heat/ac, lawn care seniors can’t do for themselves any longer and many other items that certainly haven’t gone DOWN in cost....
