although the COLA is direct, for those that receive SS but don’t drive, if you run the numbers as Freeper Norm suggests, there are very large savings that will trickle down to them as well
Sorry, don’t buy it, at least not in California where there is always some calamity or unscheduled facility repair that manages to bump the price of gas right back up there. And from what I have observed the lower price of gas so far has not reduced the price of electricity or water, or food and medicine.
