My first impression also.

Certainly has the same crazed zeal for a bad cause.

She's going to have to live with that image the rest of her life.

Serves her right. Nothing wrong with asking loaded questions, but plants deserve to be humiliated. Especially odd plants.

If Trump wants to run on the GOP ticket, even though he seems to be more suited for the libertarian ticket, then he’s got to be prepared for this.

That said, the left loves Trump. I don’t know whether this is because they like his ideas (such as universal health care, taxing interest, etc., which are all like Bernie’s ideas) or because they think the GOP will lose if he’s the GOP candidate. They’re actually trying to promote him, not bring him down, and that’s why he gets 24/7 coverage from them.

Although part of this is because Trump, where he has made money, has done it as a performer, and he knows that there’s no such thing as bad publicity, so he provides the media with juicy moments. Any publicity is good because it keeps you in the public eye. So that’s why he complains so loudly about any “attack” on him, because it simply keeps him front and center.

He plays the media like a Strad. I can only conclude you mean he should take the beatings with a smile, the Bush way.

As for the left loving Trump...you need to see a doctor. Pronto.

I thought you said he needed to be better prepared?

Ah Come on. The wide eyed stare, the little head bob and the hands on hip thing I thought was kinda cute. The delivery needed work but she is probably an actor at heart. Trump was on to her from the get go and dismissed her with ease.

To hire someone who works in a Senator’s office is not exactly stealthy. Maybe they calculate that the initial shock is worth a couple of points even if it is eventually discovered that she is a plant. The people who care the most about the dirty politics of it weren’t likely going to vote for Jeb. But this makes clear that Jeb is the party insider’s favorite.

I imagine that we will soon see some more aggressive infighting between other insiders. If Trump has his strategy right, he may soon be finding ways to set these guys and gals off on each other. But of course he won’t want to be in the fracas himself. But, they are all pointing at him so he should find some ways to trip them up. The big danger there I see is that he may inadvertently give them attention they didn’t have before. He sucks so much energy out of the race that he’s at risk of accidentally starting someone else on a road to the head of the pack. He seems like Teflon right now, there is not much the voters don’t already know so it will be hard for them to bring him down. They will just try things like this give him more chances to make a mistake.

Fox just glossed it over. They reported that Trump attacked her. That Jeb! Said she wasn’t a staffer and only a volunteer. And then Carl Cameron reported that “attacking citizens who ask questions at town halls is risky business.” Special Report fill in agreed that it usually back fires.

Faux has it exactly backwards. Levin just re-ran the clip. Trump didn't attack her, she attacked him. His comments were humorous ("I know I shouldn't have called on her.") and his response was not aggressive toward her. Faux is as bad as the other networks.

Fox was talking about his tweet today calling her arrogant and her attack nasty.

Thanks for the clarification. If Fox didn’t show the Q&A clip that shows her asking Trump the question and only reports on it, the viewer would have no context to evaluate the Trump tweet and Fox discussion.
