All candidates have a dread that on any given day, someone who purports to support them might do something really stupid and cause them so much damage that they never recover. This stunt borders on this. The nice thing about this little stunt was that she basically threw a crap ball with a firecracker in it, but it splattered on Bush, McCain, Ayotte and any number of other people. She just became toxic.
