Shoah is terrrific, and horrific. The worst of it is the "locals" claiming they didn't have any idea what was going on in the camps. Their smirks give them away for the liars they are.
A pretty good fictional, but generally accurate, account is the movie Uprising with Leelee Sobieski, Hank Azaria and several more. One of my heroes in life is "the lady on the roof". If you watch the movie you'll know who I mean.

"A pretty good fictional, but generally accurate, account is the movie Uprising""Uprising" is probably the least accurate film made on the subject. The Nazis lost 17 men KIA. There are some scenes in that film in which the Germans sustain double that number of casualties in a handful of minutes. "Uprising" would have you believe it was a bloody fight for the Germans, rather than a methodical massacre of the ghetto inhabitants.

I still remember the uproar that Pauline Kael caused by giving Shoah a bad review! She really knew how to get attention.
