By way of plug, David Wood & Brother Joseph have many videos on youtube where they confront Islam and defend Christianity.

David is also found at answeringmuslims.com, he is a former atheist who accepted Christ. Not certain but I think Brother Joseph is an Iraqi Christian who came to America.

Well worth listening to.

We are all Sons and Daughters of G-d.

True in the general sense, but there are sons and there are Sons, and there is a difference:

But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work. Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.
(John 5:17-18)

Here, both the writer and the Pharisees understood that the claim Jesus was making when He said God was His Father, was indeed a claim to equality with God.  It's not just that God was His point of origin.  It's that as the Son He has His Father's attributes and nature. We are all the offspring of God in the sense that we come from Him. But we are not deity. We are creatures. Jesus inherits the divine nature, the divine attributes, all those things that make God God.  Of that kind of Son of God, there is only One.
