It looks like we have yet another Flying Pigs Alert. Reliably liberal Eleanor Clift has praised Donald Trump's performance at the No Labels convention yesterday. Yes, you read that right. Not only that, Clift was also surprisingly critical of Bernie Sanders at the same event. Will political wonders never cease? Of course, Clift did deliver a bit of obligatory liberal slam against Trump in the first paragraph of her Daily Beast column so let us get that out of way before proceeding to her glowing praise of The Donald:

I agree. I’m not sure what she expected but if a world class businessman who built one of the great companies with some of the most iconic real estate assets in the world can’t talk persuasively about ‘getting things done’ there’s not a lot of hope left for the other candidates.

I remember some big time dem doing it “for the good of the country.”
He realized Carter was a failure and was scared the country couldn’t take another four years of the peanut farmer.

Liberal women like smart can-do competent men. No offense to conservative women who prefer the same, but lib women think that's their bailiwick. They also like swagger. Yes, I know, it's a fine line between swagger, mojo and watch out, don't be a male chauvinist pig or controlling. Trump seems to be able to thread the needle. .
I stand by my prediction that Trump will get a majority of the women's vote with many crossover dem woman. People like Eleanor will think Hillary will not be the 'right woman' and don't want to blow it if she is the first woman President and proves to be a disaster. Some will vote for Trump by default when they get in the voting booth. We'll see how it all plays out. .
First job is to get Trump as the nominee as he is the only Republican candidate who will get to 270.
Trump gave two examples of botched, unbelievably behind schedule and outrageously over$pent projects that he took over, turned around and completed beautiifully in a short time and on le$$ money than expected. I thought he explained so well and so clearly how he got everyone together and working as a team. And that when he needed information on something, like the right refrigerant for the ice rink, he talked to the top people, got the best information, and finished the job.
Those two stories surely impressed a bunch of people; including Ms. Clift. They impressed me!

I was also impressed earlier this month when Jack Welch (former GE CEO) on CNN said that GE had a big real estate which Trump did a great job on.
Welch said, “He’s a real doer,” which the current article illustrates.

Every Sunday, I watch it religiously since it’s inception way back when I was a Sophomore at college...or Freshman. I think McLaughlin is great.
