No one in the media ever gets this correct. The history of the Rebel battle flag belongs to the slave holding DemoRATS!
First, It was not so much a North verses South conflict, but a DemoRATs verses everyone else conflict. The “North” had DemoRATS (copperheads) that wanted to keep slaves as well, but just didn’t like the disunion of the nation.
Second: DemoRATS had almost total control of all three branches of the federal government from President Jackson onward, and then TOTALLY controlled them to 1860. Then they decided to take their marbles and have a hissy fit when Lincoln became President. They decided that they would secede if Lincoln became President after his “House Divided” speech, in which he stated, “I believe this government cannot endure, permanently half slave and half free.” The speech was seen by all DemoRATS as an abolitionist’s speech.
The point is, the Southern culture has changed from being the slave DemoRAT of old to its new culture of being one of a Christian conservative culture, one that believes in Biblical principles as most (if not all) of the Founding fathers had. IT HAS BEEN AND NOW IS THE DEMORATS AND THEIR PARTY THAT HAVE CARIED ON THE CULTURE OF SLAVERY EVEN TILL TODAY WITH THEIR IDEA OF HAVING EVERYONE UNDER SOCIALISM.

Calhoun, leading DemoRAT slaver (who some think was THE one who instigated the Civil War) agreed with the leading DemoRAT activist of the time, George Fitzhugh, when he stated, “slavery is a form, and the very best form, of socialism.” At least the DemoRATS were honest about socialism back then.

This is PC doublespeak. There is no such “right” and in fact is the greatest threat TO the Constitutional right to freedom of expression!
Such a travesty that this “right” has become so ingrained in our society that no one even blinks an eye when a DA uses it as a reason to indict Americans.
