The GOP front-runners will apparently be part of the next Republican debate.

An early-morning tweet from Donald Trump said that CNBC agreed to the demands of both Trump and Ben Carson to keep the debate to two hours including commercials, CNN reported.

*snip*

In addition to the two-hour limit, Trump, in a letter to CNBC's Washington bureau chief, requested that candidates be permitted to speak directly to the camera during opening and closing statements, The Associated Press reported.

Trump is amazing. He he won me over. GO TRUMP!

By 6/16/2015 I was behind him. All one has to do is look to see who Trump's enemies are.

It tells the entire story.

It scares me that people are so naïve. Mr. Obama is a pathetic POTUS, but Trump will be as well. Different mistakes will be made by Trump, but just as serious. Also, ANYONEs support can collapse. It may not happen before the damage of his election, but it will afterward. He cannot deliver on his rhetoric. More talk with no substance.

Perhaps you are a little too traumatized with this current sad sack of manure in the WH. OblahMao was and is pure fluff rhetoric 'community dis organizer' who had no history of getting things done. Trump may be brash and braggadocios but the man has a proven track record of getting things done and many testify to his great leadership. Will his presidency be perfect? Nope. But he's a real American who loves the nation and wants what is best for it. Barry is a foreign, leftist interloper unworthy of the position and his words are no good just like he is.

It is time to cut bait on the candidates with low poll numbers.

Yeah, but as long as Christie is in the race, I have a good response when Mrs. Jennings says something about my weight...:)

“I don’t think Trump went far enough. He, Cruz, Huckabee, Carson could dictate someone like Mark Levin or even Rush Limbaugh as a moderator.”

Even better. Much better.

Less time to hear the candidates?

And this is what passes for something that is good?

No, he is a self-serving whiner. I’m no fan of NBC, but the debate needs to be longer to let all get a say.

But...but Trump says shorter is better, so it must be.

After 7 years of a dictatorial regime and a spineless congress you’re predicting there may be hope . I pray you are correct . In my state of Maryland the democrats control the election voting devices . In the last mid-term election the voting machines were switching republican votes to the democrat candidate and were never found to be switching from dem to repub. votes . This kind of corruption was happening all around the country . In some precincts in Florida the voter turn out was well over 100% . This is what scares me about the up coming election ,,,, gross cheating . cheating

That’s why most of them are still there.

If somebody was willing to pay you $400,000 per year plus benefits and expenses, would you run for president and stay in the race as longs as possible?

DT was on Greta last night. He claimed that the CNBC had been selling 30/sec ads for $4K...and jacked it up to $200-250K/30 sec spot....and in the process wanted to extend the time to 3 hours, when DT had agreed to 2 hours.

He sounded stern ..."The networks are making a fortune off this stuff," Trump said. "I wonder why."

Watch the Greta interview here:

Is Donald Trump Boycotting the Next GOP Debate?

I suppose he won this one, by refusing to be used by the drive-bys.

It is good strategy for the front runners (Trump and Carson). They have little to gain and lots to lose.

Is that what the going rate is?

Their mission is to stay in as long as possible to do the most damage possible to Trump, for Jeb!, Rubio or any Democrat with a chance to win.

I agree it's a good strategy for the front runner but it's a bad strategy for the the voters to determine who the better candidate is.

I was listening to ex Sen Danforth-R on Diane Rehm show on NPR yesterday touting a new book. As usual the hosts on these shows never call out the guest for any reason even double speak.

She asked Danforth if he thought Trump would be an electable President. Danforth went on a angry rant about Trump being a hateful man (guess because he doesn’t like illegals) and he will not be the President.

Then Rehm asked Danforth which candidate would make the best President? Danforth then says since he is on the Debate Commission he would not want to make recommendations, but he did say Kasich and Bush would be OK.

It illustrates how Danforth, a member of GOP establishment has no problem putting Trump down, but then he gave JEB a vote of confidence - even though he stated that he should be neutral as he was on Debate Commission. Everything is a setup, and they do not even try to hide it.

The process works. It is a marathon, not a sprint.
