“No, he is a self-serving whiner. I’m no fan of NBC, but the debate needs to be longer to let all get a say. I have not watched ANY of the debates and don’t plan on it. They don’t really change any minds anymore than watching a football game changes the fans watching.”

For one who brags about thinking logically, you are contradicting yourself here, plus being illogical and irrational.

Your hatred of the only candidate since Reagan that both loves America and has courage to speak the truth is messing with your neurons.

These fantasies about his collapse are as uninformed as they are pathetic.

Hear, hear!

Yes, I do. It scares me that people are so naïve. Mr. Obama is a pathetic POTUS, but Trump will be as well. Different mistakes will be made by Trump, but just as serious.
Also, ANYONEs support can collapse. It may not happen before the damage of his election, but it will afterward. He cannot deliver on his rhetoric. More talk with no substance.’

Your post is a blend of personal opinion, assumptions and unlicensed fortune telling packaged as fact. I literally do not have time to unpack everything wrong with your presumptuous, egoistic comments. Rather than even attempt it, I’ll focus on one item.

Namely, “Popularity today can collapse tomorrow.” Your explanation is that Trump’s popularity may not collapse until after he’s elected. First, it is yet another crystal ball assumption, unsupported by facts, that Trump will be such a disaster that his support, after being elected, will collapse.

But I’m more interested in the fact that you didn’t originally indicate that this collapse would be so far in the future. Was that really your intention all along? To warn us that subsequent to being elected, Trump’s popularity might collapse? If so, to what purpose? Did you think we’d be less likely to vote for him if, according to you, two or three years down the road his popularity might collapse?

Nothing wrong with reiteration. Also, you added in Russia and China. You are quite correct!

I was sort of hoping they would boycott and we could get to hear from a couple of the other candidates for a change. Three hours would give everyone more time to speak, but now, with commercials included in the two hour time, we are going to have another “Wild Don Trump Show, with his trusty sidekick Dr. Ben”.

Everyone is accusing the DNC of limiting the number and length of debates to favor Hillary, and now Trump and Carson are forcing the RNC to do the same thing. They will get about 60% of the time between them and everyone else will have to split what is left, with most of that going to whom ever Trump starts attacking.

I picture a debate taking place around a table with all participants facing each other, and talking directly to each other. A question is posed and each person around the table, in turn, gets a chance to answer. After everyone has a chance to answer the question each person, in turn, gets a chance at a rebuttal/response. The questions are posed by a moderator who is not seated with the candidates, and everyone get a turn being the first to respond to a question.

It takes as long as it takes.

And, yes, I know I must be delusional.

If it was me, the following would immediately get the bum rush (Stop wasting our time!):

Gilmore
Pataki
Graham
Santorum
Christie
Paul
Hucklebee

Leaving the following:

Trump
Carson
Cruz
Rubio
Fiorina
Bush

After 1 month of polling, the bottom candidate of those top six gets the boot. IF things don’t change, that would be JEB.

Trump & Carson ate CNBC for lunch!!! I hate CNBC.....for the eight years of Obama, they have supported “Zero” interest rates to improve the economy & create jobs and let the !% Obamabot vermin investors make millions of dollars, while American workers, College graduates, Poor folks, suffered because of Obama’s handling of the economy. Millions of hard working Americans suffered as no decent paying jobs were ever created....while Obama lined the pockets of his “sock market” boot lickers!!! I am glad Trump & Carsom wiped up the floor with the low life staff of CNBC!!! Bravo!!!

The solution to the problem is not a three hour debate. It is a higher cutoff number. Polling 2.5 is a pathetic showing. None of those low enders is going to win;they’re just cluttering the stage.

Make the cutoff five percent—which is plenty low—and no rounding up. A kiddie debate for the rest is fine, but reserve the big stage for the serious contenders.

Problem solved.

Trump just might be the one person who can bring the MSM to their knees.

They've been on their knees for the past 7 1/2 years. Trump is bringing them to heel.

A better format would have been to ditch the alphabet enemedia altogether!

Seriously this isn't the 50's! Broadcast quality equipment is cheap and readily available!

Used to be we had to take what they offered. Times have changed. Now make them take what WE offer!

Trump and Carson win

So do the rest of them. It assures that the wannabees get time at the beginning and the end of the debate to state their cases, directly to the cameras.

It doesn’t matter how many are on the stage. With the current “debate” format the time will go mostly to Trump and Carson. Possibly, if a better format were used that gave everyone equal time, the numbers would not be so skewed toward just two people.

Is Trump the leader because he gets all the attention, or does he get all the attention because he is the leader? Which is cause and which is effect?

//Disclaimer: I support Ted Cruz//

Levin: “Governor Bush, you said of illegal immigrants and I am quoting here ‘Yes, they broke the law, but it’s not a felony. It’s an act of love’”. I have the father of Kate Steinle here. She was killed by an illegal immigrant. I’d like to give you the opportunity to explain how her death was really an act of live. You have 30 seconds. Go!

Bush: “Umm..er...Umm...Well, it’s nice to er umm see you Mark...”

Levin: “YHELLO! YHELLO! YHELLO! GET OFF THE STAGE YOU BIG DOPE!”
