I see a knight, with a sword and a shield, mounted on a horse. AFA the design on the shield? What I see is possibly, a stylized Cross. I guess 'political correctness was in play, even then. Since the 'Crusaders' folded in 1976, I believe a person would be hard pressed to find out what the design meant, at least from the designer.
. Going farther afield, how about the 'Crusaders Football Club' from Northern Ireland's logo?
. (Though I thought the Cleveland logo would be better known on this side of the pond.)
