One of my sons works there and has given his 2 week notice. Their revolving door employee policy is a big indicator something is wrong. On the other hand Taco Bells employees stay for years and are much happier. My other son who works for Chic-Fil-A loves his job there.

I wonder how much of McDonald’s pain is coming from folks who started going to, or increased going to, Chick-fil-A a few years back?

Anecdotal, I know, but we go to CFA a lot more now, as do a lot of people we know. We go to BK and Wendys about the same. The loser has been McD’s.

Funny you mention Taco Bell employees. I have noticed the same 4 or 5 Taco Bell employees at a location near my house that have worked there for multiple years. Its always nice to go in there and see familiar/friendly faces.

Used to be all of fastfood was a revolving door. Employee turnover in the industry averaged 300% annual. This is another place where McD hasn’t changed with the times. The competition figured out employee retention saves money, McD still sees everybody as expendable.
