Could it be that Biden is bowing out because he knows any Dem that gets the frontrunner status will be taken down by the Donald?

That's my take. There are a bunch of polls showing him beating all the Republicans, but I think the Dems know that's the "unicorn theory" in which something that doesn't exist is a desired alternative---until it becomes real.

I think Biden would do only slightly better than Hillary, only because he hasn't done squat for 6 years and has no recent record.
