I mean, it’s incomprehensible that a grownup who has been to high school and college in the United States of America disqualifies themselves because they’re not a scientist when they’ve learned that the Earth rotates on its axis but they’re not a scientist; where they’ve learned that the sun rises in the east and sets in the west and it does so 24 hours a day; and you can run the list of things that we know science tells us happens, and we accept it every single day. And to suggest that when more than 6,000-plus peer-reviewed studies of the world’s best scientists all lay out that this is happening and mankind is contributing to it, it seems to me that they disqualify themselves fundamentally from high public office with those kinds of statements. And I think the American people will decide that this year, because the American people are overwhelmingly in favor of doing something about climate change.

Exactly, when I say Climate Change Scam, I mean the Socialist agenda where they try to fool the ignorant masses into believing it's man made. The Leftists take it to the extreme and pretend that it's science (ie. Bill Nye the Anti-Science Guy, Tiny Dictator Sheldon Whitehouse, and Man-Bear-Pig).

Climate changes hour by hour. In the old days we called it weather.

Heat increases diffusion, and if C02 causes heat, then C02 increases water vapor.

This is exactly my point. If their theory were correct, we would have entered a runaway greenhouse effect like Venus. The Earth would be uninhabitable.

However, their theory is not correct, because the positive feedback effect of heat increasing diffusion which increases water vapor which captures and holds more heat, is offset by the negative feedback effects of water vapor when it forms into clouds.

Clouds intercept sunlight at higher altitudes and thereby reduce the warming of the atmosphere below them. Much of their captured energy is radiated into space without having warmed more atmosphere below the clouds.

Increases in water vapor increase cloud cover and so what was initially a positive feedback effect flips over and becomes a negative feedback effect, making the entire system self regulating to a large extent.

Their theory is that if we can scare the people with the boogie man we create and which they do not understand, the public will give us money and power to protect them from the boogieman which we created.

Basically the same way a Witch-Doctor works in primitive cultures.

The planet has been much colder in the past, and the geological evidence actually favors Global cooling.

But these Witch-Doctor-like yahoos don't really care what the excuse is, they only care about money and empowerment. They only care about the ability to command other people to do as they bid.

Their motivation is as old as humanity.

It isn't just the molecule, it is a lot of other factors on Venus. It is the heavier gravity which concentrates the density of the gas on the surface, it is the fact that it is so dominant in the atmosphere there, that there is so much of it. It is the proximity of Venus to the Sun.

For what it's worth, one of the most creative ideas i've seen is a plan for colonizing Venus. Now you might think men can't live on a planet with an 800 degree surface, and this is mostly true.

It's only 800 degrees on the surface. If you go higher up into the atmosphere, the temperature drops off. The people looking at the Venus colonizing scheme point out that since the Atmosphere is mostly carbon dioxide, a large steel tank filled with nothing but ordinary air, will float in the atmosphere of Venus.

What's more, it will float at the boundary layer between the carbon dioxide part of the atmosphere, and the nitrogen/oxygen layer which is at higher altitude.

We could literally build cities in the skies of Venus.

The other amazing coincidence regarding this idea is that the temperature at this boundary layer (about 30 miles above the surface) is around ~80 degrees Fahrenheit. We can breath, and be comfortable.

It’s comfortable temperature wise but, it’s 95% CO2, we’ll need help breathing. Good idea though.
