It makes sense because Walker was polling in the double digits in Iowa before his campaign went bankrupt. His supporters went to Carson.

The previous Quinnipiac poll 8/27-9/8 had Walker at 3 in Iowa. Carson previous at 21. That is 24 if ALL Walker's support went to Carson. The Des Moines Register previous had Walker at 8. Do you believe 100% of them went to Carson? Cruz +2 Rubio +3. Also Trump dropped a lot which is not reflected in the national numbers. They are trying to create a narrative. Not many people believe these polls are valid.
