I agree she looked stone cold sober among other things. Normally the results of a chemical or field sobriety test should be known by now if there were reasons to genuinely suspect drug impaired driving.

I just read this on a local Oklahoma State message board. I cannot vouch for its accuracy, of course, but the person posting it would be a local, and probably has some access to the justice system.
What I have heard is that she has been detained twice before for threatening to kill herself, prior to yesterday. What she did yesterday was purposeful and not entirely because of alcohol. She has made statements to police that she meant to do it. Just what I heard thru good sources

Wow. Cowgirl, short of a diabetic coma, she is in big trouble. But, just no way was she knee walking drunk, in my humble opinion.

I just can’t believe it, that she would mean to take out all those darling kids and families watching a parade. It just doesn’t sink in, that kind of insanity exists. Yes, I know better.

Thank you so much for the information. My husband and I were just discussing the tragedy from our local newspaper, when your comment popped up. Thanks.

You’re right, she is in deep doodoo from a lot of perspectives. I wouldn’t take what I posted as gospel, either, because I have no way of verifying the accuracy of it. It does seem to fit, though. I just don’t see any way there wasn’t some purposefulness there.

I’m afraid you’re right. We will also see how she lawyers up soon. The defenders of the indefensible are always out there, already wanting in on this case.

Home coming parade. Army ROTC works traffic and crowd control.

Cause nothing bad has ever happened in Oklahoma prior to 6 Oct... No bombings no car crashes, nobody even got cancer.

Prior to this year we have never had droughts nor floods nor earthquakes or fire. Illness unknown and car crashes never happen.

The Righteous Wrath of Almighty God shall not be questioned...ever. Sodom and Gomorrah was but a preview of the Republic's future unless and until this nation, founded by Christians on Biblical principles, repents. Now before it's everlastingly too late!

Wake up America! Return to prayer and Bible reading. Restore the Founder's Biblical foundations!

You may be correct. But your argument is inexcusably irrational.

Do you not think that America needs to repent? Are you opposed to restoring the Biblical principles that are at the heart of this Republic along with guns?

You’re skirting dangerously close to the “logic” of the Westboro Baptist Church; blaming the slaughter of innocent families on some sort of marxist group-guilt judgement by God. Absurd.

Do you claim to know what God thinks, Why he does things or allows things to happen?

Do you consider blasphemy a sin?

No, Christians need to repent. America cannot be Saved, only people can be Saved.

“Are you opposed to restoring the Biblical principles that are at the heart of this Republic”

Do you mean slavery?

Please explain that followup comment to my post further. The koran is the book sanctioning slavery, certainly not the Holy Bible.

Slavery was practiced in America when it was founded so we were hardly founded on Biblical principles.

Slavery was already well on the way out by the founding of this Republic. Washington, Jefferson and the other distinguished men of that era were all working diligently to free their servants. And there’s no question that these men indeed treated their current slaves as members of their own family. It’s a well-worn leftist falsehood that the Founding Fathers were “slavemasters” in the evil sense of that word. Moreover...and this is quite telling...slavery was not sanctioned by the Constitution.
