Incremental war on cash advances in the communist state of WI. Forcing a legal business not to accept legal tender would appear to violate basic contract law. So this is happening in a "Republican" legislature. How totalitarian. How is something like this going to be enforced? SWAT raids? So what's next? Gun dealers? Jewelers? Coin dealers? Remember Martin Niemoller's quote: First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a Socialist......

The morons that write laws like this spend half of their lives coming down from drug induced malaise and the other half getting there.

As far as I knew, the feds already keep track of who gets certain pain meds. After my son was in a bike accident, the doc prescribed Hydrocodone for him. At the pharmacy they said they couldn’t fill it unless I gave them his SSN. (No, I didn’t.)

In a cashless economy it only takes the stroke of a finger on a computer to delete or transfer your assets. A scammers and hackers wet dream.

If they refuse payment, walk out. Make sure you have a recording. They would not take legal tender. Theynare supposed to. They cannot refuse lefal money to pay a bill.

You tried to pay, they refused. If the wont take your offered legal payment, thats it, the debt it voided.

Sue them if they persist. The government cannot make money that says it is good for all debts, then write laws that say you cannot use that money to pay certain debts.

Recall that our vaunted potential Speaker of the House is from...... Wisconsin. More of the electronic progressive agenda.

Cash is king in a world of plastic. This “law” is disavowed by the actual laws of the country in which our cash money, currency is LEGAL tender for all debts— as printed on the bills.

I don’t get it! What do they expect to achieve by this? Is this some attempt to curb the illicit drug trade by insuring that there is a a written record as to where the payments are coming from? Lots of good comments follow the article.

FReep Mail me if you want on, or off, this Wisconsin interest ping list.
