Maybe I’m slow, but how would this not disadvantage Russia just as much as anyone else?

I’m surprised. I really thought much internet and phone communications nowadays went through satellites. I thought the Trans Atlantic cable was so 20th century. I stand corrected.

They wouldn’t have to break them now, just plant
remote control mines on them for use at a time of
their choosing.

US Navy is worried Russia planning to cut the undersea cables that carry 95% of internet traffic

Why on Earth would they cut something they can tap into? Intercepting data and injecting misleading data are far more valuable tricks than cutting one data route off.

If they were really worried about it they wouldn’t be saying anything in public. They must want something or are just trying to keep the WWIII meme rolling.

We began offensive operations against Spain in 1898 by cutting cables.

There are so many cables, there is hardly anywhere a ship can go without being near one.

I'm surprised no one has raised suspicions of a false flag attack with this story of "Russian subs threatening our trans-oceanic communications".

Most of Europe is on the verge of going Beirut, Mad Max, WW-I, and French Revolution, all at the same time. Lots of us suspect that whatever happens over there will be just a short time ahead of the same sort of stuff happening here.

Who would benefit the most from cutting us off from news of the SHTF in Europe? Certainly not Russia. That would be our own treasonous politicians.

Europe's corrupt politicians opened the gates for these sub-human, 7th century, head-chopping savages to come in to rape and murder their own citizens. The European people must go after the people who opened the gates, as well as deal with the animals who are rushing in. They just must.

Our corrupt politicians are doing the same to American citizens. It is genocidal behavior. Maybe they have some bug-out plan for when it starts here, but our lack of communications will be to their benefit.

All the goals of the AGW movement are aimed at reducing the civilized populations of the USA and Europe.

The Zero Population Growth movement was aimed specifically at reducing the populations of the USA and Europe.

The gun control efforts have primarily targeted the law-abiding, civilized populations of the USA and Europe.

Russia is busy right now. I don't buy it.
