Catholicism is hardly credible in determining who is and isn't the people of God.Putting aside the fact that your post is a gratuitous slur, what IYHO is the criterion for "determining who is and isn't the people of God"? Do the SDA meet it or not?
[Bonus Quesrtion] How does your criterion compare to the RCC criterion?
Spot on. Then there is the Pacifism aspect of his faith that would make him ineffective as Commander in Chief.
What Seventh Day Adventists believe can’t be any worse than what our Community Organizer-In-Chief and the Former Twelfth Lady *don’t* believe.

By those who have studied such matters, the four major Cults in the world today are, Christian Science, Mormonism, Jehovah’s Witnesses and Seventh Day Adventist.
WHAT CNN REPORTERS BELIEVE
There ain’t do-do after death. So let’s make everyone miserable while we’re still on this side of the dirt.
They don’t deny that Jesus is the Son of God.
They do not deny that He is a man, a member of the human race.
Integral to their beliefs, they see Jesus as having lived a perfect life as a human. They believe that this was necessary in order for him to redeem man. He died a perfect life, to redeem the lives of sinners.
Man chose Satan as their leader in the Garden. Jesus purchased back the souls of man by dying on the cross.
He was part of the Holy Trinity before coming to earth. He suffered the trials and tribulations of a man here on earth. He returned to heaven as part of the Holy Trinity and is our liaison to God the father at this time.
Jesus explained that his relationship with the Holy Spirit and God the Father was the relationship we should now have with Him and the Holy Spirit.
This is central to SDA core beliefs.
This is however a great object lesson on misconceptions.
Much is being made about Jesus being Michael..., Adventist do not believe that.
I don’t remember having read it before, but context is important, and I haven’t seen the full context yet.
At any rate, thanks for asking the question.
I don’t believe people are attacking Carson personally, although they’ve done that to Trump, it’s the DOCTRINE of his faith that is fair game. The DOCTRINE of ANY faith should be put to the test against the Infallible Word of God.
Bible believing Christians are commanded to TEST ALL THINGS.
1 Thes 5:21; 1 John 4:1
I’ve always believed that they are all cults until they get big enough to call themselves religions, and the Mormons are certainly that. I see they left out Scientology. Anyway, it’s good to know that there is a self-appointed body somewhere pronouncing upon the cultishness of other peoples’ religion.
Which Jews are we talking about? If Moses, or the Apostle Paul, it is certainly the same God. But if you mean modern day Judaism, definitely not:
"Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also."(1Jn 2:22-23)
Joh 5:23 That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.
I would call Islam a murderous evil cult. (Moderate Muslims do not follow Mohammed)
Why are you putting that aside? Is it because you know I can quote your catechism teaching both things?
As for the SDA, at the very least, they still believe in the Trinity, and in this sense are superior to Mormons or JWs. But their legalism (specifically their food restrictions, which God calls sinful), their aberrant teachings, and their extra-biblical foundation, would certainly put them on the fringes and cause me to doubt their "Christian" bonafides.
Yeah, But Jesus directly said "THIS IS MY BODY" and protestants don't believe that either.. It's so easy for them to pick and choose the Biblical statements that they approve of...
The punishment is clearly that of eternal suffering. There is no denying this for any rational view of the scriptures:
Rev_14:11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. (Luk 16:22-23)
Scientology does not claim to be Christian and this was primarily about Cults that use the name of Christ.
Anyway, its good to know that there is a self-appointed body somewhere pronouncing upon the cultishness of other peoples religion.Anti-popes are a dime a dozen. The first one, Hippolytus, laid the way for reconciliation before his death.
St. Hippolytus, pray for us.
Pacifism
Pacifism is opposition to war and violence. The word pacifism was coined by the French peace campaigner Émile Arnaud (18641921) and adopted by other peace activists at the tenth Universal Peace Congress in Glasgow in 1901. A related term is ahimsa (to do no harm), which is a core philosophy in Buddhism, Jainism, and Hinduism.
You are right!
With all the sinners risen out of hell, and what happens next?
Rev_14:11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
Rev 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
Jesus spoke of death, not eternal suffering.
Luk_16:23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
"The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth."(Mat 13:41-42)
And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. (Mar 9:43-44)
Adventists don’t believe in the Infallible Word of God because Jesus spoke often about Hell.
