I believe that it was clarified--while both the moderator & Trump were talking at once--that it was someone else who posted the Zuckerberg comment on the Website. It is a non-issue, unless you are just trying to stir up conflicts among Conservatives on personal issues--rather than legitimate discussion over policy issues.

Becky Quick was trying to show off her skills as a questioner. Also, CNBC have been up until very recently, part of the group that took Jeb Bush as the virtual nominee from his first announcement. So they are having a bit of trouble--internal trouble in their own minds--over Jeb's rapid disintegration. (Not excusing Becky's misuse of her position as a moderator. That was not excusable.)

Here is what Trump said at the Debate:

“I was not at all critical of him [Rubio]. I was not at all. In fact, frankly, he's complaining about the fact that we're losing some of the most talented people. They go to Harvard. They go to Yale. They go to Princeton. They come from another country and they're immediately sent out. I am all in favor of keeping these talented people here so they can go to work in Silicon Valley...”

“So I have nothing at all critical of him [Rubio].”

That is pure bunk.

Almost all of the elite foreign students at elite American universities come from Western Europe, Japan, Can-Aus-NZ, and the oil rich Middle East.

They VOLUNTARILY return to their own countries after graduation because the standard of living and the pay scale are the same as, or better than, the United States.

And here is another reason elite students leave:

80% of second tier foreign students from second tier American universities stay, or try to stay, in the USA after they graduate.

Almost all of those second tier foreign students come from Russia, China, India, Eastern Europe, and Iran.

Almost all of those second tier foreign students are chasing a USA Green Card because they can't bear the thought of going home to their garbage dump countries.

And because American employers know these kids don't want to go home, they pay them below-market salaries and force them to work brutally long hours, or else...no Green Card sponsorship!

This is exactly the kind of work environment that many elite foreign students would have to compete in if they did stay in the USA. So, the elite students say “forget this crap,” and they go home.

Current H-1B and Student Work policies are literally driving out the most talented foreign students so American corporations can hire the cheapest and most desperate Third World students.

Excellent point.

Trump went wobbly last night. He doesn’t know what is in his own position paper. Big disaopointment.

Trump has single-handedly slain the GOPe dragon.

Even if he falls now, he has made Cruz an electorally viable candidate.

Win-win.

Cruz has his own immigration problems.

I was referring to amnesty and H-1B visas. Cruz supports the former and wants to increase the latter.
