The problem with his flat "business tax" is it's A NEW TAX with new rules.
Fine, you have a business, you pay 16% "business tax" on the business earnings...Where and how does the business owner's earnings get taxed?
Obviously his tax plan is already causing confusion. Before it's finished it will have more pages than Obamacare.
Being the Solicitor General of Texas, with about 4000 lawyers under him isn’t like running a business?Nope, not even close.
We don’t have full info yet on Ted’s plan, but what we do know simplifies things a lot! And earns him some benefit of the doubt while we await more information. It’s premature to presume the worst, but always prudent to keep your powder dry just in case.
