If the chairman of the RNC (aka Rancid Penis) had any spine at all, he would refuse to agree to any further debates by the MSM PERIOD. The RNC has plenty of money (they keep badgering me and everyone else to send them cash!), let them buy broadcast time, and ask the CANDIDATES who they would like to see as moderators.

Personally I think a great panel of moderators would be Mark Levin, Rush Limbaugh and Mark Steyn.

I have found that even today people think the media runs like the movies portray it. Crusading reporters, grizzled Lou Grant types and the rest.

When a reporter ‘wings it’ on air, they get fired. When a print story slips through off script, an editor and likely the reporter, gets fired. The ‘news’ is what a publisher or other equiv. says it is based on agenda and ad sales/revenue.

As a former broadcaster myself, I can assure everyone that this CNBC so-called 'train wreck' was not some spontaneous event where the moderators maybe got 'a little carried away', this was a thoroughly scripted and planned event. There is absolutely NO way that any producer or manager would have just brought in those three clods and said "ok, just wing it, we have every confidence in your professional abilities", NFW!

Exactly...I watched the pre-debate clownfest...They were all giddy talking about watching the candidates attack each other during the debate...They obviously were familiar with the format...

It’s the perfect scam. They basically get their reader/viewer, whom thy consider to be a doddering idiot, (and believe me, you should hear how the typical newsroom discusses the general public) to buy the bullet they are shot with, load and aim the gun into their own eyes... and make a profit from the endeavor. Then follow up with a story on the killing, blaming the victim and another calling for gun control. Followed by another bemoaning the lack of suicide prevention treatment in private insurance policies.

Lib/leftist pols then rally to the cause and new laws are passed restricting to ‘public outrage’ and empowering whatever the liberal wants.

Meanwhile on conservative outlets, people get pissed if anyone mentions dropping dish/cable because they want their football games.

I gotta tell you. I used to sit in absolute awe of some of the things they would come out with. And you have to understand this was coming from people like the following

A reporter who now works foe a state Dem pol in Penn. Who argued in an open newsroom with ‘civilians’ and customers all around that 1+1 did not have to =2 because “Quantum physics”.

A political reporterette that was imported fro Eastern Europe that did not understand the American political system.

An Editor that swore by the infallibility of the Associated Press and refused to allow corrections in their stories.

An education reporter with strong ties to the teachers union

A publisher that regularly demanded the weather page under report the temps by 10 degrees so as to not negatively impact foot traffic to advertizers.

And this is the mentality and perspective of what ‘reports’ on the news and thinks YOU are too stupid to wipe after using the toilet.
