This is like the practice of castration in ancient times. Castrated men — eunuchs – were often admitted to special social classes and were used particularly to staff bureaucracies and palace households: in particular, the harem. It also was done to produce state owned slaves and used as a punishment to accompany enslavement. It involved the removal of all of the male genitalia. It was a risky procedure because of infection and of course, it was extremely painful. Castration as punishment was a death sentence. The removal of only the testicles proved to be less risky and produced the same results for those used as slaves.

Interesting angle, I could easily see why our “imperial leaders” in botht he academia, and the social sciences are pushing this.
As they attack Christianity they bring back the “pagan ways” of old decadent rome but they are dressed up in shiny new “PC clothing”.
