Rush Limbaugh: "Ted Cruz means it when he says he's going to try to get government out of people's lives, when he's going to try to reduce the size of government, when he's going to try to reduce the financial take that comes to government. He means it."

A friend of mine said Cruz does not compromise. It is the compromises that brought us the $20 Trillion deficit.

Does Limbaugh think Cruz is a likely winner over Hillary - that he can likely take her? That’s where I have my doubts because I know Trump can very likely take her.

I’d love to hear some unbiased thoughts on this becasue there is a lot to like about Cruz except sometimes it feels like there’s a little too much political persona there, but I don’t care as long as he does what he says and kills political correctness and big government dead. Dead dead. AND BRINGS BACK THE CONSTITUTION AS THE LAW OF THE LAND. THAT is the BIGGIE!!!!

I’m a Trump supporter, but if Cruz gets the nomination he has my vote.

Until then I want to see his stance on immigration change dramatically. (His donors/owners won’t allow that, however....)

It infuriates me to hear the GOPe excuse that "we need to end the sequester because we need more money for defense." What utter BS! The Department of Defense has more than enough funding defeat any country on the planet -- if it actually spends its massive budget on defense. But the Pentagon is a cesspool of graft and waste, throwing many billions at programs, salaries and contracts that have nothing at all to do with defense. America is bankrupting itself on champagne and caviar while claiming we can't afford bullets and MREs. Not another damned penny for ANY department!

With proper marketing a turd could beat Hillary. I’m not committed to a candidate yet, but Cruz is (I say this in a good way) a sneaky son of a bitch. I think he could take her.

My opinion: Cruz would blow Trump away when the rubber meets the road and there are only 2 candidates, lib/conservative, as there is no real substance to Trump’s positions and many of the things he stands on are highly liberal.

Cruz takes the fight to the enemy and does not relent. He will absolutely run rings around hillary it won’t even be funny.

Ted Cruz means it when he says he's going to try to get government out of people's lives, when he's going to try to reduce the size of government, when he's going to try to reduce the financial take that comes to government. He means it.

There is simply no one else who I really believe and Ted Cruz has a history of doing what he says.

I think we all know who Rush will be voting for, and it sure isn’t Trump.

Rush knows the facts. Far too many want to believe that facts don’t matter.

Cruz is the most trustworthy, consistently constitutional conservative and competent of any candidates.
I’m afraid Cruz has a hard time relating to many in our dumbed down Idiocracy.

Trump is far less a principled man, whose alliances, statements and actions show him to be more a liberal opportunist, than conservative.
“The Donald” is a self possessed narcissist providing red meat distraction to rising conservative populist sentiment, just as Ross Perot did 24 years ago.
Both play their part to deliver the presidency to the Clintons.
White wash, rinse, spin, repeat.

Trump has no use for the constitution; he loves the legislation by the courts.

And there is no way that Trump could get elected to anything.

He turns way more stomachs than he soothes.
