German Chancellor Angela Merkel says the world must do everything it can to meet an international goal to fight global warming, arguing that failing to do so could set off large new waves of refugees.
Merkel said in a speech Tuesday "if we don't manage this, that could be a reason for many, many refugee movements" around the world.

I have read similar reports. The inability to learn and reason is across a broad spectrum, also in the inner cities in the USA and the world where IQs are dropping precipitously.
This does not bode well for the future, but it definitely serves a purpose to keep those in power, in power. If TPTB think they will have a biddable population of cheerful drones under their control, they are wrong.

its almost a certainty. The Bible talks about the AntiChrist gaing control over the treasures of gold and silver. Sounds like he's handing out a lot of it to get evil men and women to do his bidding. You’re right, she’s not. It’s called slight of hand, smoke and mirrors, pick your metaphor. An old tried and true method of turning the people’s attention away from the real problem. A previous German Chancellor was a master of this. Who was Adolph Hitler?
These policies that she is pursuing are ripe to produce a new version of the H-man promising to restore Germany’s society and dignity. And not just in Germany either.
It goes without saying that none of the current world's leaders seems to have any understanding of history or the lessons available from that kind of knowledge.
