Financial problems. We were there but survived, thank God. Also, a lack of religiousity doesn’t help in times of trouble.

Well, looking around, I’d wager they’ll live in the buildings you have built until they are dilapidated and falling down. They’ll never build another new one. They’ll start killing each other for being various shades of brown, first using weapons you left behind and eventually be back to using stones. They’ll drive the cars you have built until they don’t run anymore and eventually be back to horseback and then two feet. Etc.
