Those are great!
This country was in decline before Obama stained the Oval Office. By concentrating on him you miss the bigger point.
Specifically, which Trump policy, or which two, will further the decline of the USA?
All these Trump supporters owe Colin Powell an apology. Poor Colin got reamed by the conservatives, because he didn’t explain is political leanings or even which party he belonged to. Now here comes Trump, who’s acted like a Democrat more than Powell ever did, and Trump’s the savior of the conservatives!
Specifically, which Trump policy, or which two, will further the decline of the USA?
Based on Trump’s earlier support of Hillary, abortion, and other Democrat failings, I don’t trust Trump to govern in a conservative way. I don’t trust the man.
That's honesty.
While I think you're wrong not to trust him, the lack of trust is probably the root cause of 90% of the Trump hatred here on FR.
I'll give you this, if that is how you view things, it's an honest reason to oppose him
Of course it was in Decline, Obama just Super Sized it just like he doubled the National Debt to $20,000,000,000,000.
I’m not just talking the national debt; and the decline didn’t start when Bammy got in office. The county has big problems; mostly with an uneducated or ill-educated citizenry, plus a citizenry being polluted and diluted by foreigners.

It won’t be any policy - but simply the collective nature of what it was to make him resonate with the proletariat mob like it was 1933, again.
I don’t think there’s any policy that can prevent that —unless it came from a significantly higher power than whoever manages to park their wherever in the White Hut.
“It wonât be any policy - but simply the collective nature of what it was to make him resonate with the proletariat mob like it was 1933, again.”
You struggled to not use the name ‘Hitler’ I’m sure, but I saw what you did!
>>but I saw what you did!
I observed human nature.
Has it changed collectively since 1933?
Human nature hasn’t changed for that long and longer.
Your original post (”but simply the collective nature of what it was to make him resonate with the proletariat mob like it was 1933, again”) is circumstantial proof of that
Many, apparently even yourself, find it easier to see a dark, endless horizon when in reality what they are seeing is the beginning of a sunrise.
To further explore -
What is it about human nature that it so consistently manufactures the sort of collectively worshiped/served state establishments that America’s founding fathers tried to protect us from?
Sorry. I had the comment screen open for an hour and didn’t see your post.
>>what they are seeing is the beginning of a sunrise.
There is nothing new under the Sun :)
Though I think the social challenges confronting this generation are, at least historically, unprecedented.
“Kinder and gentler”
That would be nice.
>>This country was in decline before Obama stained the Oval Office.
Yes. I remember thinking, back circa August 2001 whilst sitting in traffic on the way to my STEMufacturing job — where do we go from here?
911 has been a distraction, albeit a highly motivational one, from trying to answer that.
I’m not clear on what you are say, but ‘Kindler and gentler’ is not what I want.
Not for a president.
What we need is a tough patriot who is unafraid to be a SOB when it is called for.
How can the Republic facilitate that “progress” in human nature?
>>What we need is a tough patriot who is unafraid to be a SOB when it is called for.
It’s a little disturbing that this is the image of Putin folks seem to be admiring.
It’s astounding to see that happening. This is certainly not the future I imagined back circa 1989.
I remember that.
It nearly made me puke.
What I didn’t realize is that the announcement signified that Reagan was over and an attempt was underway to undo all the good things he had done for America.
One important thing about Trump as it relates to this, unlike Reagan, Trump isn’t going to be beholden to anyone and have to listen to them insist that he choose a certain person as his VP.
He’s going to be able to choose someone who he thinks will best carry on his stated project.
