Putin just called Obama chicken!
“...said fighter jets could be hijacked...”
LOLOLOL!! Sure! That’s what the missiles are for...hijacked fighter planes! LOLOL!!
The important question is which missile systems?
You will note, of late Israel has not attacked any Syrian manned, Russian manufactured anti aircraft missile batteries, as they have previously.
New Russian systems are alleged to be very good.
With their own pilots and aircraft in the air over Syria, Russia may have sent the good stuff to protect them.
Read the book, “FULCRUM” written by a former Russian MIG-29 pilot who defected to the “West.”
Those missiles are also sent there to shoot down any would be defectors.
