It’s an asinine idea that deserves to be ridiculed for many reasons. If one insists on holding the view then they should be criticized.
It’s fair game and not meaningless as far as it speaks to the discernment of the brilliant doctor.
It certainly doesn’t seem as if he put much practical thought into the idea. If he’s going to double down on a kooky theory, then I agree; it’s fair game.
