The Obama administration is expected to reject the Keystone XL pipeline today, a move that would mean a major victory for his green supporters and a stunning defeat for the oil industry, the Canadian government and Republicans in Congress.

President Barack Obama will give a statement at 11:45 a.m. in the White House, with Vice President Joe Biden in attendance, following a meeting with Secretary of State John Kerry.

Widely expected, and now China will celebrate and push for more trans Canada pipeline capacity to facilitate shipment to China.

Also don’t forget his subsidy to countries like Brazil, that I’m sure would be hurt by approval of this pipeline.

It's also a stunning defeat for the Democrat-leaning trade unions. Funny how Politico forgot to mention them.

Now that Trudeau has been elected, it will be a mutual decision. Canada will support it as part of climate change efforts.

Doubtful. Canada is going to need the tar sands more then ever to pay for Trudeau's big welfare bills. Socialist countries are always the dirtiest on the planet.

If you remember the first of this week, it was announced that the new Prime Minister of Canada didn’t want to go ahead with anything on the Keystone Pipeline until after OUR elections, hopeing for a new President to work with...

Another one of obuma’s lies and trying to make himself look good...and obumacare has tanked...it’s over and finished...

So Canada’s new Prime Minister now faces a diplomatic balancing act, and it’s likely that his promise to improve country’s relationship with the U.S. will take priority over his support for Alberta’s troubled oil industry, analysts say.

“This is a major diplomatic irritant,” said Adam Scott, the Climate and Energy program manager for Environmental Defence, which opposes the pipeline. “A new Prime Minister would want to move on and rebuild this relationship.

“Its not a deal breaker,” for Trudeau’s relationship with Obama like it was for Trudeau’s predecessor Stephen Harper, Scott said.

It's a shame his mother rejected birth control. We'd just all be a lot better off if she had had any morals.

It's a shame his white grandmother didn't have access to birth control pills.

Or that she didn't teach her daughter how to hold a dime between her knees.

And yet he continues to destroy and spread his evil upon us unabated. It is beyond my comprehension why he is still healthy and doing his destruction of our great nation day after day.

Obama’s mother was a piece of work. Not many Americans at the time even knew any muzzies but she found a way to get impregnated by two of them.

barack, sr. was also married at the time so they couldn’t have been married. He was nothing more than an immoral African goat humper.

The really sad thing is that he will likely be around a long time after he moves out of office. That is unless we get hit with terrorist attacks because of his ill intent or recklessness. If we do, I will wish him the absolute worst.

Actually, TransCanada will just focus on the Energy East Pipeline, adding 1,600 km of new pipeline and converting 3,000 km of NG pipeline to crude. It will run from Hardisty, AB to Saint John, NB, where Canada’s largest refinery (Irving Oil) is located.

Currently, the majority of refining in Eastern Canada is of Middle Eastern crude. This pipeline, if approved by Turd-owe and the Lieberals, would do much to reduce Eastern Canada’s dependence on foreign oil. Some may be exported, but I would hope that much will be used here in Canada.

AFA twinning the TransMountain Pipeline, THAT is less certain, as many First Nations (aka Natives, Indian’s, etc.) object to such work on a pipeline through their ‘territories’. Turd-owe, every the politically-correct leftist, won’t want to pizz-off the First Nations.

I suspect China will be SOL to receive much Canadian crude.

Then from there JD Irving will deliver his refined products to South Portland, ME and distribute it to their Irving gas stations all over northern New England.

May be, but at least it will mean less money to the Saudis and their Wahhabi moslem terrorists, through the purchase of their crude.
