The show is rarely funny.
Trump doing it though is a big win. Shows he’s ‘trendy’ and can be in on the joke.
Better though were the talk shows.
He’ll stand up to put it in ...no, no Putin.
He was self-deprecating, going along with the fun.
Very charming.
And, you know, people turn their noses up at the "low information voters" who would watch this show regularly. But I'm not so snobbish that I would mind some of them pulling the "R Lever" for President and down ballot, too.
The sketch with Trump as President was hilarious as was the live tweeting sketch....the rest, not so much. I think it was a plus for Trump, though, like you said.
