Today, I am thinking of your son and his sacrifice.
“Today, I am thinking of your son and his sacrifice.”
Well, thank you. Here in the U.S. it’s a day for all veterans, not just those lost. We also have Memorial Day. In Europe and other places, it’s Armistice Day and possibly Remembrance Day (or the nearest Sunday). The latter two do pertain to the lost and their survivors.
My son knew it would take 20 or 30 years before any difference could be made in Iraq. We bail out at half that and look what is happening. Sigh.
