A suspect was arrested in the slaying of an ice cream truck driver who was gunned down in a midday attack in Oakland last month that the city’s mayor called an act of “senseless violence,†police said Wednesday.
Joevan Lopez, 23, was taken into custody on suspicion of killing 45-year-old Jasvir Singh Oct. 3 in East Oakland, officials said.

Also the worker might have, just possibly, maybe had a few quarters in his pocket.
The murder was so poorly educated, as to think an ice cream truck would have any amount cash?
Assuming this guy IS IN FACT guilty as charged a just and demanding society should have no more qualms about exterminating him with a well placed .22 bullet (keep costs down) than it would of stepping on a cockroach!
I’m pretty sure that in Oakland, “ice cream man” usually = drug dealer.
