Hispanic and Latino are terms that refer to cultures from predominantly Spanish-language cultures.

Except that "Latino" is cant, a Spanish-language adjective (not capitalized in Spanish) not found in good English dictionaries (maybe under "slang" and "cant").

If someone had to quote someone else using the word, I'd recommend italicizing it and using lowercase, to make sure the reader understands that a Spanish calque is being introduced.
