Dr. Carson never would have self-destructed if Trump hadn't come at him hard and force Carson to defend himself.....he can't and the string of excuses has gotten disturbing. Keep in mind the 'pub puppetmasters were going to keep propping up Dr. Carson, and ignoring his insurmountable flaws, as the way to keep Trump from clinching the nomination.

I like the thought of a President who's in it to win, doesn't back down in that endeavor and is on the side of US citizens. It will be refreshing, in DC and on the world stage.

what folks are failing to understand is....the illegals like it the way it is....even with an amnesty why would they register? subject to income taxes, subject to the draft, and other laws of citizenship....they are not going to register...

In the 60s, we had what was termed the Bracero program. Workers came up from Mexico on short term visas to help farmers harvest the crops, etc., and when they were done they went home. They were legal, they did do work that Americans did not want to do (except for some college kids looking for summer jobs.) The braceros had some basic protections under the law, including the fact that farmers were required to pay into social security for them. They were able to draw their legal social security in Mexico when they reached retirement age. We need a return to the bracero program for farm workers, and perhaps something like it (short term) for domestic labor as well that is designed in such a way that American workers have first short that those jobs.

The media has been coming after Carson and it set off this recent round of news stories and talk about Carson's background and the life story he tells. It went ballistic with the West Point story and then Trump started piling on.

If Trump would stop these silly personal attacks and concentrate on the key issues he has raised more than anyone else, he could almost wrap this thing up because with the release of TPP and other stories surrounding immigration matters and trade, those issues are hotter now than at anytime during the campaign.

He's wasting time and damaging his chances with these attacks on Carson.

Immigrants are people who applied to be Americans in their home country, waited their turn, paid their fees, learned the language, and complied with the laws.

Carson is all over the board with ALL kinds of solutions.

My neighbor, who works as a cash register checkout lady at a very nice convenient store ( Thornton's ) said to me today about 20 minutes ago after returning from her 6 AM to 2:00 PM shift.. "What's up with Ben Carson?"

I asked what she was implying.

She serves 400 to 500 customers a day and said she heard several comments regarding Carson's "screwballness."

I swear, I'm not making this up.

I think it's Carson that's beginning to implode.. NOT Trump.

No he isn't. Too many people who want an outsider thought that Dr. Carson is presidential. His numbers have stayed up there, and something needed to be done before the holidays begin and people forget about the campaign.

I like that Trump will fight for what he believes in. And what he believes in is US citizens.

I don't know what Dr. Carson believes in. His narrative was that he's honest, a straight shooter and a conservative. That's shredded, so let's get him out of the race!

Many people who support Trump disagree with you. I’ve heard more criticism of his tactics today than all during the campaign from his supporters. The media was raising many questions about Carson and there was no need for Trump to pile on. People can kid themselves all they care to, but he damaged his campaign with this. Hopefully he’ll wise up and spend his time on the issues that he can win on and stop these personal attacks.
