Wednesday at a press conference after his remarks at Liberty University, Republican presidential hopeful Dr. Ben Carson was asked about what he would do with the 11 million illegal immigrants already living in the Untied States.

Carson said proposed a six-month registration period to register, then after that the case would be made on the legal status.

Carson said, "When you look at farming industries, I've talked to farmers with multi-thousands acres farms and they say their business would collapse, I've talked to hotel owners and they say that they would have a very difficult time without them. That's why I say workers willing to work in industries where we need them. That's a win-win situation.

Other than the crime of sneaking across the border and working illegally, that is.

How would they know? They’d come up and say “Yup, we’re not criminal” (American slang they learned)

>> I’ve talked to farmers with multi-thousands acres farms and they say their business would collapse

Tough cookies. Those farmers are criminals just like the wetbacks they hire.

>> I’ve talked to hotel owners and they say that they would have a very difficult time without them.

Too bad, so sad.

>> That’s why I say workers willing to work in industries where we need them

THEY ARE CRIMINALS! Remove them and let the chips fall as they may.

Otherwise, their “legal” stay of “six months” PLUS THE INEVITABLE EXTENSIONS will equal FOREVER.

There are already visa’s for agricultural workers. The rules & regs for these visa’s need fine tuning to make them work better for Ag employers to use to get workers in, but there is no need to give amnesty based on the agricultural industry.

NON-CRIMINAL ILLEGAL

Is it just me, or is that an oxymoron?

American workers will do all those jobs for market level wages. If the hotel and farming industries actually start to collapse due to lack of labor, we can quickly import guest workers to fill their needs.

I don’t mind the idea of a registration with no promise of granting legal status, but I think it should be used as a trap to get illegals to turn themselves in.

Americans won’t fill those jobs because they make more on welfare than working. It’s simple, end welfare.

Mr. Carson, I propose returning such to their own country wherein they can apply for citizenship of other countries legally if they so choose, and we can choose whether or not to admit them based upon the criteria that the skills they want to bring fill a need that we have and will benefit us in some manner.

And by “us”, I mean American citizens, not American politicians.

What do you think of that proposal, Mr. Carson?

>> It’s simple, end welfare.

It’s not EITHER deport wetbacks OR end welfare.

BOTH are needed.

And not just welfare. No wetback should receive ONE PENNY of taxpayer money for ANYTHING. Not one cent!

They should be given 6 months to leave the country and then apply for the working visa once back in their own country like legal immigrants have to. Once there they then are vetted and have to pay a fine. Not all will be granted visa’s , but that is like legal immigrants who never know if they get their visa.

If they do not leave after 6 months then they are arrested at their places or work, welfare is cut off, and the employers fined which can help to pay for a fence..

will not vote for Mr. Carson

(if he wants to give the six months to register for a flight back to their home countries, that would be fine with me...but not this!)

Sorry Dr. Carson, but keep on proving that you don’t qualify for the office of President.

Trump needs to end his silly and damaging (to Trump) personal attacks and let Carson hang himself by talking to the voters about his stances on the issues. Carson is little different from Jeb or Rubio, and Trump should only comment about other candidate’s stances on the issues.

There are no non-criminal illegals. They’re lawbreakers by being in the US illegally.

The laws have to go back to the 7 year waiting period before they can become citizens and before they can VOTE.
