Not unusual at all to hear gunfire in northern rural Alabama on any night, the local PD would just chuckle.
It’s over now. It was a scheduled fireworks show that was part of a Christmas tree lighting. Sounded really weird to me but I think my imagination was on overdrive from reading about the attacks in Paris.
