French President Francois Hollande promised early Saturday morning that France would respond to terrorist attacks that killed more than 120 people with a "pitiless" war against the group responsible.
"We are going to lead a war which will be pitiless," he said at the Bataclan, the site of one of the attacks, according to the Guardian.
"Because when terrorists are capable of committing such atrocities, they must be certain that they are facing a determined France, a united France, a France that is together and does not let itself be moved, even if today we express infinite sorrow," Hollande added.
Hollande's remarks came after what appears to be the biggest terrorist attack ever on French soil, and some emerging signs that the Islamic State is responsible.
They also may pose a challenge to the Obama administration, which has faced increasing criticism about whether its plan to "degrade and ultimately destroy" ISIS is working fast enough. Secretary of State John Kerry was in Vienna Friday for more talks about how to handle the Syrian civil war, which has been credited with creating the conditions for the Islamic State to thrive there.
"These are heinous, evil, vile acts," Kerry said in response to the attacks. "Those of us who can must do everything in our power to fight back against what can only be considered an assault on our common humanity."
Don’t underestimate the European capacity to engage in genocide when provoked enough. Muslim areas of Paris are off limits to local law enforcement because the inhabitants adhere to Sharia Law (in other words they are lawless).
Will this latest example of Muslim savagery lead to France policing these enemy enclaves? I’ll be watching closely to see if French actions meet French rhetoric.

Europeans are facing cultural, economic and maybe even physical extermination and they cannot bring themselves to identify the enemy that is destroying them. We suffer the same blindness in our own government and throughout the Liberal society, Hollywood, the Schools, the Media, the government and the whole political class. The 2nd Amd needs to be spread to those states and cities that fear armed citizens. Eliminating free fire zones aka gun free zones would go a long way to preventing this kind of attack in America.

France is the European country most apt to do what needs to be done i.e. expel all its Moslems. That seems to contradict everything we have come to despise about France but I believe it is true. I don’t really expect it to happen at all but if it does in one of those countries it will be France that does it.

I wouldn’t. They are suicide bombers. They will sacrifice as many as they need to in order to further the cause. Narcing out a muslim simply puts more of them in prison which fills the recruitment agenda.

Things might be different this time. Usually leaders are well protected from the pains they inflict on the people. Hollande was at the site of this attack when it happened.

France should provide arms to Muslims to show how much they trust the Muslims. Furthermore, French citizens should be forced to appear in buildings which are rigged with explosives that Muslims can detonate at any time.
