No, as much as I sympathize with you, I’m afraid that approach may not work. Today, that is just as likely to produce a dictator. That is part of the Left’s strategy. Create an environment that is so intolerable that people fear for their own lives. Then, they are willing to compromise their liberties for safety. Kind of like “peace at any price.” We’re already there. Remember, at one time the executive branch was weak and the people were strong. The ‘leaders’ feared the people - not the other way around. Don’t mean to “flame you” as I know what you want. I would love another Reagan. But there must be enough people that ‘want’ a decent, moral individual with traditional values and common sense. To get that we have to “be” that kind of populace - and we aren’t any more. We’re selfish, immature, apathetic and immoral.
Obama was elected twice by this country. That is a nation that severely lacks discernment. Real discernment comes when people’s hearts are submitted to the God of the Bible. Then they have a standard by which to judge deceivers like the ones in our government, schools, entertainment, etc., etc. and vote them out or not buy their products or watch their filth. We have compromised with evil for so long we can not longer discern between that which is good and that which will enslave and kill us. Can’t be judgmental you know - that might hurt someone’s little feelings. Even if Ted Cruz or Donald Trump gets elected, you and I both know that after their 4 yrs. are up another lefty will get in and the process will continue to destruction. I’d still like that 4 yrs. but we as a nation have a heart problem. We love the wrong things. We no longer want people of character and integrity. Bill Clinton... remember, the nation loved this guy and now many are truly willing to vote for a socialist like Bernie(!) and people wonder why the barbarians are at the gate? “Blessed are the people whose God is the LORD.”
Well next year is coming and there are two good choices, Donald Trump and Sen. Ted Cruz. They are fighters. God Bless them both.
