My father worked for GM, and my first new car was GM, but I will not be buying another one - no matter how high their JD Powers ratings may go.

GM is Government Motors still, no matter how they lie about having paid back all the loans. All it takes for Chevy trucks, for instance, to get high ratings is for J.D. Power or Motor Trend to get a phone call from someone in the White Hut suggesting that Chevy be declared Truck of the Year, and it happens.
First it was Ram trucks after Chrysler took the handouts. This year it’s Chevy.....in spite of the world changing Ford aluminum chassis pickup hitting the market. I throw a brown flag and call BS!
I got irate over GM building umpteen factories in China, swearing I’d never buy a chingchang made vehicle. I was poo-pooed and told those vehicles would be strictly for the Asian markets. Well, as of yesterday it was announced that Buick SUVs made in China will be sold in the U.S.A. Not to ME they won’t!
