For a gun-free city, seems there are a lot of guns. Kinda reminds me of Chicago.

They used to call Beirut the Paris of the Middle East. Now it looks like Paris is the Beirut of Western Europe.

I’m staying at the Pullman right now. I’m from Texas and here on vacation. We were at the Eiffel tower when all the guards. And police ran towards my hotel. They wouldn’t let us near so we stayed at a café for an hour until the all clear came. When we got back there were some police there and lots of Belgian media. I was asked for an interview but they were looking for a French speaker. I actually drank at the hotel bar with some folks from England and Germany. Appears to be a false alarm but everyone is afraid.
