Absolutely before Thanksgiving. I like to have all my Christmas preparations done before Thanksgiving. Especially in my area when the snow starts to fly and it becomes brutally cold outside right around that time.

Then from Thanksgiving to New Year's Day, I sit by the roaring fireplace with a good book and a mug of ale and get to admire all the twinkling lights around me.

I love to decorate early, too. Tree is up and decorated . . with the Christmas Train running around the tree . . nonstop . . when our Grandsons are here. I love this time of year when Love is in the Air.
