As recently as last April Coulter was insisting that the Republican candidate in 2016 had to be a governor. And she dismissed Ben Carson, Carly Fiorina, and -- yes -- Donald Trump as poor candidates because they weren't real political leaders.

That means that at least as far as Trump is concerned, Ann wised up and saw the light.

She didn't "see the light" at all. He's just her latest in a bizarre chronology of political infatuations she has had in recent years.

1. First, she was all-in for Christ Christie. I guess she realized that a fat slob from New Jersey didn't have a chance in hell of winning the nomination, because that didn't even last until 2015.

2. Then she hopped on the Scott Walker bandwagon ("I hate them all except Scott Walker," 3/17/15), but that only lasted until she learned that she had crush on Donald Trump after all.

This is not a serious political pundit here. She's erratic, inconsistent, and very much a self-promoter.
