Russia moving in under the pretense of ridding the region of ISIS is like the Mafia moving to your neighborhood under the pretense of moving out a violent street gang, then setting up a permanent base there to do Mob "business".
Russia will grow wealthier, more powerful, more aggressive in their overall expansionist agenda (Eastern Europe, eventually elsewhere), and much more of a threat to the US and its allies throughout the region and the world.
Sure it's great IF they actually do get rid of ISIS (we shall see). But having a country like Russia step in and gain such huge strategic advantage over the US and its allies is nothing we should be cheering about.
If Obama was serious about wanting to take out ISIS, which I don't believe he ever was - I think him and Putin are actually in cahoots on this whole thing despite his and Kerry's public moans and groans about it, it might not ever have come to this. But then Russia would likely have come up with some other 'rationale' or excuse for moving into Syria and taking control of it, and ultimately the entire Middle East. Makes me wonder if ISIS was a KGB-like invention of the Russians, created to give them cover for expanding.
Putin has stated that he believes the demise of the (mass-murdering, communist [my words]) Soviet Union was the "worst geopolitical catastrophe of the 20th century". He has also said he thinks Stalin deserves to have statues in his honor. He clearly seeks to restore the old Soviet Union, or something not too far different from it.

The Hillary/Jeb push for no-fly zone to protect unknown fighters simply encumbers Russia from taking the fight to ISIS.
I suspect Obama has INTENTIONALLY been weak on ISIS in order that his Russian comrades have an excuse to move in and ultimately take over the Middle East. This despite his and John Fonda Kerry’s fake public objections. They huff and puff but will do nothing. Not because they don’t have the nerve but because they basically share the same new international order vision with Russia: weak US, strong Russia. Obama has bent over backwards helping Russia become stronger with the horrible-for-the-US missile defense and nuke deals he made with them.
Both Obama and Kerry were supporters of the Soviet Union. KGB/FSB Putin’s goal is to basically restore the Soviet Union. Only this time the empire will be larger and more powerful because it will include the Middle East with all of its valuable resources, which they will greatly benefit from and use to grow even stronger. Since 2005, Russia and the ChiComs have been holding joint war games in preparation for war with US and our NATO allies. All the while we have all of these dupes, dopes, and die-hard Putin supporters here cheering them on.
We have to mount a campaign to support OPENLY our public figures, candidates and office holders and anyone else nearest to us who is willing to RESIST this insidious, suicidal resettlement ploy.
Obama is Muslim and hates America. We have to actively resist this FUNDAMENTAL TRANSFORMATION of our country.
It is Un-American to confine ourselves to the keyboard in endless discussions, and call no one, protest no one, be seen by no one, nor heard.
We deserve what we get, if we don’t snap out of this trance we are in!

I think a much better arguement can be made for the US creating ISIS and supporting them. As far as Russia going into Syria, I believe they have a treaty with Syria which allows this.
And it is a fact that we are supporting the “rebels” trying to overthrow Assad. Thank you Obama, Kerry and Clinton.

Putin is an incredibly cunning man. He's making this global domination thing look easy.
Not just here, it's everywhere. I see it everyday in the people I talk to. Putin projects strength and masculinity, Obama projects limp-wristed weakness. Putin presents himself as a stout Christian defender, Obama presents himself a faithless, relativist mush.

They can bomb and kill ISIS all they want but in the end what are they going to do about the importation of Muslims into their country? Until that is stopped they will always have terror attacks.

Now being reported that Obama and President Putin agreed on the need for a Syrian-led and Syrian-owned political transition, which would be (significant)...proceeded by UN-mediated negotiations between the Syrian opposition and regime as well a ceasefire.
BTW....Putin’s also meeting with Cameron and Merkle....Putin wanted the key seat at the table on Syria. He’s got it.....
