Actually, over on DU they, like Trump (at least until he started running for President as a Republican):
- Promote a single-payer health care system
- Support "Assault Weapons" bans
- Adore Planned Parenthood
- Express admiration for, and contribute to, Hillary Clinton (4 times - most recently in 2007) and say she was a "fantastic senator"
- Propose nutty ideas like "wealth taxes." (In 1999 he proposed a 14 percent wealth tax.)
- Think leftists like Trump's sister would make excellent Supreme Court Justices
- Believe there should be few limits to Eminent Domain
And on and on. For a Trump supporter to call a Ted Cruz supporter like myself someone who would be more comfortable on DU is really pretty funny, considering you're supporting a guy who HIMSELF would have been comfortable there until pretty recently.
Ted Cruz was fighting for conservatism since well before Trump STARTED giving money to Clinton. Trump has been fighting for Trump and nothing else.
Anyone who thinks Trunp's conservative credentials match those of Cruz doesn't belong on FR OR DU....
He belongs in the booby hatch.
Warmest Personal Regards,
Hank
Actually, I went to the Ted Cruz rally for Religious Liberty at BJU in Greenville yesterday. I would love to see Cruz win. I just don’t think he can.
Trump can win. And we can’t risk having 8 years of Hillary.
