Trump’s explanation of why he gives to both Democrats and Republicans is that he is in real estate and to get things done he has to bribe officeholders—and he has no problems with doing so.

Can we trust anyone who believes bribery is they way to make money?

Are you in real estate building? Have you got multi-billions of dollars in the bank? Do you have huge building and resorts and golf courses all over the world?

No I didn’t think so....

That goes on everywhere for business people who want to do business in a particular area. It happens here in this state.

Reminds me of a Rodney Dangerfield scene where he is in an economics class:

Rodney Dangerfield's First Economics class

Dr. Phillip Barbay: That will be quite enough, Mr. Melon! Maybe bribes, kickbacks and Mafia payoffs are how YOU do business! But they are NOT part of the legitimate business world! And they are certainly not part of anything I am doing in this class. Do I make myself clear, Mr. Melon!... now, not withstanding Mr. Mellon's input. The next question for us is where to build our factory?

Thornton Melon (Rodney Dangerfield): how 'bout fantasyland?

Trump uses the excuse quite a lot that “everyone does it” (being a Democrat in NYC) or that exaggerating one income is what businessmen/politicians do and is necessary for the public to like him and not be embarrassed with a measly 4 billion etc. Electing a no-nonsense businessman does sound like a good idea until you think how seat of the pants pragmatism might not be the best quality in a president.

What about all the Congressional lying 'Bi===ths' who take lobbyist money all of the time. They get your vote telling you they are with you and will stand up for what you want and then in D.C. they vote the way the lobbyist money tells them to.

As Hillary says, "What difference does that make?"

Welcome to the reality that is America under the Chicago machine. In many Rat areas, that is LITERALLY the only way to get anything done - there is no choice.

By the way, nobody seems to mind supporting candidates who are clearly being bribed by the donors. Look at Ben Carson, Cruz's and all the rest of the GOP's donors, and then people wonder why Cruz thought the last straw for fast track was McConnel and the Ex-IM bank, but not that Fast Track was giving Obama power to negotiate a deal without Congress and to pass a treaty-- which every corporation wants-- with a simple up-down vote. Cruz even voted against an amendment that would have made fast track better; it would have given Congress veto power over any attempt by China to join TPP. Even according to the advocates of TPP in the first place, TPP is supposed to be a way to counteract China!

So Trump gets hit for controlling politicians, but nobody seems upset that their candidate is controlled by the Cheap Labor Cabal or the Globalists.

I trust the person giving the bribes before I trust those taking them, which is every politician.

It's the reality of business. Hell, I've even brought a dozen donuts to one party to get his signature and get the damn job done. He'd remind you of Christie....pompous a**..

But this is still a half a** backwards way of looking at things.

How much has Hillary received from the Wall Street folks?

It IS the way to buy influence in America.

True and Trump has not hid the fact that he buys politicians because the system allows him to do so. Remember in the first debate when he mentioned he bought Jeb Bush?

I’d rather have a guy the does the buying rather than the giy who is bought

Yes. He's a mastermind... or something. Just stop thinking so much and you'll feel better.
