I assume the PD will also sign the pledge and turn in their guns.

the Greensboro Police Department collected all guns that have been cleaned and unloaded from anyone at least 18-years-old during the weekend event.

So I guess the 17-and-under crowd can hang on to theirs. Whew!

I am coming to understand that this id a great idea. And I am serious.

The ONLY people that would do this are liberal idiots that no one in their right mind wants having guns because clearly they aren’t mentally stable if they WOULD do this. Fewer prozaced liberals to go postal with weapons.

Some police are really misinformed and misguided. Have they “turned in” their guns? Fools.

“police department also accepted guns anonymously.”

Turn in that gun you used to murder someone. After a thorough cleaning, of course.

This story makes me ashamed to say that I used to live in Greensboro! At the time, I loved living there. It was one of the top five most popular cities to live in the whole United States according to some survey. That was in the late seventies. My husband and I moved from Greensboro in 1978.

Residents were encouraged to sign the “Pledge of Nonviolence”

They will be fitted with the Instrument of Obedience!

“Pledge of Nonviolence”

sounds like a slogan the nazis would have used to get guns.

Note that they are requesting *unwanted* firearms.

Criminals want their guns, need them for committing crimes.

Law abiding citizens want their guns to protect themselves from the criminals that don’t have any “unwanted” guns.

This story is so stupid as to be offensive for that reason alone.

Greensboro’s unofficial motto is Videri quam esse, “To seem, rather than to be”.

They must be expecting a shipment of muzzies. Best to disarm the citizens before any harm comes to any refugees.

These are exactly the same kind of police officers who will be siding with the Muslims when the inevitable war hits our streets. Expect cops like these to be going after patriot and community militias that form as a response to rampaging Muslims.

This is why we can’t trust “law enforcement.”
