Islamic State warned in a new video on Monday that countries taking part in air strikes against Syria would suffer the same fate as France, and threatened to attack in Washington.
The video, which appeared on a site used by Islamic State to post its messages, begins with news footage of the aftermath of Friday's Paris shootings in which at least 129 people were killed.

Since DC is full of thieves, traitors, and reprobates, I’m having a hard time seeing the downside.
What about Freepers who just happen to reside in the metro? I don’t want any American attacked whether they are left or right.
The big problem is that ISIS will pick soft targets. That’s my biggest worry. They won’t go where there is security.
I hope they do. We need a catharsis moment to wake people up to the fact that Islam cannot be tolerated, cannot be managed, and will constantly attack people until it is put down.
I think it’s professional courtesy. They won’t kill a Muslim president.

Maybe if they had to go thru what New York, and Paris did in ‘sewer city’ they would finally come out of their money hungry stance and realize there is something wrong...MAYBE!!!

yes, as a Freeper living in NoVA, I am always amazed at Freepers calling for hellfire to rain down on us. I guess it’s just acceptable collateral damage in their minds.
There are good people living in the metro. There are good people living in Syria. Most the people in Syria can’t help where they live.
I would be very cautious this holiday season.
I wonder how a Paris style attack in DC would change Obama’s plan to accept Syrian “refugees”. Would he stop it altogether? Decrease the number? Or would he double down on it and increase the number?
I take the metro and that is a really soft target.
There are a lot of innocents, tourists and the like, who’d likely be injured. And despite the current crop of cockroaches that infest it, it houses a large number of national landmarks.
Pretty big downside, imo.
