The terrorist attacks in Paris have prompted two governors to announce that Syrian refugees will not be allowed to resettle in their states.

Gov. Rick Snyder of Michigan and Gov. Robert Bentley of Alabama, both Republicans, issued individual statements Sunday declaring that their states would not be open to refugees fleeing the conflict in Syria.

Noting Michigan's "rich history of immigration," Snyder's statement said, "But our first priority is protecting the safety of our residents."

Why doesn’t the governor of Texas reject the invasion of Mexicans?

“Did I just read that the Muslims took over the city council of Dearborn as well?”

No, that’s the city of Hamtramck. It used to be a Polish thing but now it’s a Muslim-Polish thing...which is still kind of a ‘Polish’ thing.

I've been out of the country too long!

I am sure the Polish in Hamtramck won't put up with these muslims pushing them around.

Then, again, I have been gone too long!

That happened on the same day and Jindal did not welcome them.

-"Jindal"

Wow..... He 'is' an idiot!

I'm telling you, there is not one single 'gov politician' Presidential candidate that I even remotely trust (except Cruz). They are all 'talkers' that are in bed with their donors and political cronies. Jindal, Rubio, Paul, and the rest of them.

I want to know how many Syrian refugees are being assigned by - WHO EXACTLY? - to Washington D.C.

Julian Castro, Secretary of HUD. Remember that when Cankles names him as her Veep in an attempt to get more Hispanic votes.

Until and unless the governors do 2 things, the movement of the “Syrian” “refugees” will continue:

1) Post massive numbers of police around refugee centers and forbid them from leaving.

2) Arrest State Dept. officials on some pretext. Hold them for a while without bail, as a danger to society. Oh, eventually you’ll have to release them - but in the meantime you draw LOTS of attention to this matter.

would not be open to

That does not mean they refuse. That just means they don't like the idea.

They will like it even less when the FED forces them to accept X number of refugees.

Even if they do send a strongly worded letter to the prez like Gov Bobby of Louisiana did.
