Thank you for bringing that up. A "friend" posted that silly video on Facebook and I mocked it. Things quickly escalated with him saying I must be riot at funerals and me calling him a master of the empty gesture. He got the last word calling me an a-hole.

I've since stayed away from FB as I can't stand seeing self-serving nonsense passed off as compassion. I've wondered if I made a mistake. It may have been in bad taste ("Kumbaya would work, too.") but did I cross a line?

I mean, who really thinks rolling a piano up to a place where scores of helpless, innocent people were gunned down by Islamic savages and playing "Imagine" is a thoughtful, considerate act? And who then feels compelled to share it on FB?

I spend a lot of time on Freerepublic and I forget the greater part of humanity suffers under powerful delusions.
